The 'Boundaries4Bushfires' T20 Cricket Charity is set for Friday the 7th of February. Through the fantastic support of the WACA, proceeds from the game will be given to Bushfire Relief Funds which will be announced in the upcoming days. Through the incredible generosity and support of Michael Farnell from Sports Imagery Australia and talented aboriginal artist Nerolie Bynder players/coaches will wear personalised uniforms for the match with these uniforms being auctioned off at the completion of the game.

*** THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN ***

‘These spirits represent the fire spirits. The knowledge holders of fire from the past, the present and the next generation who will hold the fire knowledge in the future. The spirits are holding up the land and the smoke. The smoke is represented by the three wavy long lines in this art.
The land above in the mosaic pattern is representing the Aboriginal fire methods that have always protected the land, sustaining wildlife and plants. The leaves represent new plants sprouting and the kangaroo tracks represent the animals of the land. This cultural burning heals country so it can always be used and protected’ - Nerolie Bynder
